The wave of electrification is reshaping the product structure of the automotive filter industry, driving a sharp increase in demand for specialized filters such as battery pack breather filters and hydrogen fuel cell air filters. The growth rate of these emerging categories far exceeds that of traditional products, with the penetration rate of electric vehicle filter modules expected to reach 31% in 2025, an increase of 9 percentage points from 2024. Pure electric vehicles, although not requiring traditional three filters, have extremely high cleanliness requirements for new components such as coolant filters in battery thermal management systems and electric drive system breathers. The rising production of new energy vehicles globally has made specialized filtration solutions a key growth pole of the industry, prompting manufacturers to accelerate R&D investment in materials and structural design suitable for new energy vehicle scenarios. It is predicted that the market size of new energy vehicle thermal management filtration will reach $12.6 billion by 2027, with a compound annual growth rate of 21.3%.
